Supporting Our Local Special Olympics

Growing up with a brother who has Down Syndrome, I realize the impact the Special Olympics has on individuals with intellectual disabilities. I know my brother's most memorable and triumphant times are those years long ago he spent participating in the organizations various events, including bowling and shot put.  
​The Special Olympics is a wonderful organization that goes way beyond just the aspect of "sports". ​It builds an individuals self confidence, it helps to demonstrate courage, it develops physical fitness and opens the door to friendship, encouragement and most importantly, joy.

We had such a great time being part of an important event and will always continue to do so.  As this organization is close to our heart, may you find an opportunity to open your heart and bring joy to someone who could really use it - It truly does the soul good:)
